The Director of I & T will be responsible for managing and participating in the development and implementation of all IT-related infrastructure, policies and procedures; establish priorities for the department; provide overall vision, direction, leadership in the development, deployment, operations, maintenance IT-related systems including data, servers and end-user workstations, networks and networking related systems, telecommunications facilities, and software infrastructure and systems; and oversee the day-to-day IT support function. In consultation with the executive team, HQ and field-based directors and managers, determine the goals of the company and implement technology to meet those goals. Primarily focuses end-to-end project management, demonstrating ownership of entire process from beginning to end. Job Responsibilities: • Leads strategic planning, development and evaluation of the information and technology systems of the organization. • Leads the execution of technology strategy for network infrastructure, technology platforms, enterprise and desktop applications, hardware and security. • Ensure seamless client usage of virtual professional development and training tools, viz., Blended Learning content, the Learning Management System (LMS) platform and commensurate in-house skills. • Provides leadership and guidance to the IT team and holds it accountable for building and supporting reliable systems. • Establishes IT policies, standards, procedures for the organization that support efficient operations and effective IB operations. • Ensures a 24/7/365 accessible and effective set of core business systems upon which the organization depends nationally. • Establishes technical standards and ensures adherence to the for product development and organization operations. Ensures the security, privacy and regulatory compliance of all systems, including mobile and portable technology. • Develops and coordinates plans policies, resources, and mission as well as goals, vision, and expectations of the department by meeting with managers and directors to determine needs and challenges. • Determines the resources needed to plan and implement IT applications. Discusses requirements with end users and provides software suggestions and recommendations to users to help them understand potential limitations and challenges. • Coordinates projects from development through implementation; develops requirements, budgets, and scheduled for IT projects. • Supervises subordinate personnel including: hiring, determining workload and delegating assignments, training, coaching, monitoring and evaluating performance, and initiating corrective or disciplinary actions. • Provides consultation, makes recommendations, gives appropriate advice, and/or facilitates IT related decisions. • Tracks and communicates project status to senior management, identify gaps/areas for improvement and initiate corrective actions. • Proactively develops and executes appropriate contingency/mitigation plans to minimize the risk and prevent evolution of open issues. • Advises management for potential technology risks and provides solutions based on the objectives established by management. • Performs other similar duties assigned by the Company.
