Join World Wildlife Fund’s Development Team and play an integral role in its mission to save life on Earth! World Wildlife Fund (WWF), the global conservation organization, seeks a DIRECTOR, FOUNDATION RELATIONS, a highly accomplished and seasoned fundraising professional with a proven and successful track record in securing major gifts from foundations with a firm commitment to the goals of this mission-driven organization. Reporting to the Vice President, Development, this position will oversee a budget of over $700,000 and be responsible for annual revenue goals in excess of $11 million. The Director will lead WWF’s seven member Foundation Relations team in setting, managing and implementing the organization’s foundation philanthropy program. This position supports the President and CEO, as well as the Senior Vice Presidents, in all phases of cultivation, solicitation and stewardship, toward achieving WWF’s foundation fundraising goals and diversifying its base of funding support. The Director is responsible for initiating and maintaining good relationships with WWF’s Executive, Program, Marketing, Finance and Accounting Departments, other divisions of Development, in tandem with, those of its foundation donors and prospects. The salary is competitive and compensation is based on past performance, skill and expertise. Relocation assistance will be provided if moving to the Nation’s Capitol area is required.
