The Portfolio Analyst will support key staff members who manage a portfolio of investments in youth-serving organizations to result in increases in positive opportunities for low-income youth. The Portfolio Analyst’s responsibilities will consist of hands-on work with grantees, analyzing their performance, production of internal and external reports, and leading key projects relevant to the Foundation’s strategic priorities. Position Type Exempt Primary Responsibilities Primary responsibilities include: • Conducting rigorous financial and organizational analysis, assessment of grantee performance, and progress reviews, • Performing due diligence on prospective grantees, including on-site interviewing, compiling data, and producing reports, • Participating in grantee business planning, • Tracking and review of grantee reports, • Preparation of written materials, including co-investor, management, and Foundation board reports and investment recommendations, • Supporting Managers in various grantee matters, • Managing ad-hoc projects that support the success of the Foundation, • Perform other such responsibilities and duties consistent with the achievement of Foundation goals. Supervision • The Portfolio Analyst reports on an overall basis to the Senior Portfolio Associate as the Analyst’s primary supervisor and priorities coordinator. • For particular projects or grantee assignments, the Portfolio Analyst reports to other members of the Management Team.
