Job Description PHOTO ARCHIVIST Scope: The International Rescue Committee has a vast and growing collection of photographs that require editing, tagging and organizing into a newly acquired digital asset management system. We are looking for someone to lead this effort, with a primary focus on the cataloguing and organization of recently acquired images. Responsibilities: Review recently and newly acquired photos and edit, tag and import them into a digital asset management system Work with colleagues to create internal processes for the flow of photography and other visual assets into the digital asset management system and manage the creation of permissions and rules for its use Provide assistance to users of the digital asset management system including administration of user accounts and training of the system Serve as the liaison with users of the system and the vendor that created the asset management system Ongoing management of the digital asset systems and its collection including, over time, the import of
