The Mount Sinai Medical Center is a premier 1,171 bed tertiary-care facility internationally acclaimed for excellence in clinical care, education and scientific research. Press Director As a visionary leader, you will direct all press relations for The Mount Sinai Medical Center, which includes The Mount Sinai Hospital and Mount Sinai School of Medicine. The Director will formulate, implement, and administer press strategy to heighten the visibility of Mount Sinai and strengthen its reputation as preeminent in the areas of medicine, education, and scientific research. Leading a team that includes a Press Secretary and several Press Officers, the Director will proactively position individual departments, physicians, programs, and services to elevate their reputation among key stakeholders and consumer markets locally, nationally and globally. You will be responsible for building and maintaining press relationships and managing news inquiries and issues, including directing communications during major events and crises. The Director will also oversee the production of gathering and creating unique content for the Web and other digital platforms.
