The Executive Assistant, National Cities Team will provide administrative support to the National Cities Team including, but not limited to, appointment scheduling, meeting coordination, expense reporting and travel arrangements. The ideal candidate will have experience handling ever-changing schedules; be a critical thinker with strong problem solving and project management skills; have at least 5 years of professional experience, ideally supporting an executive level professional; and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. All candidates must support the New Leaders for New School mission to ensure high academic achievement for every student by attracting and preparing outstanding leaders and supporting the performance of the urban public schools they lead at scale The Executive Assistant, National Cities Team will report to the Chief of Staff, National Cities Team. Specific responsibilities will include but are not limited to: • Prioritize and maintain Chief Officer\'s appointment schedule by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel. • Conserve Chief Officer\'s time by anticipating needs, reading, researching, drafting and routing correspondence; collecting and analyzing information; initiating communications; and trouble shooting. • Handle expense reports, timesheet recording, report creation, advanced presentation and spreadsheet development using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. • Provide travel, project, and some administrative and on-site meeting support for other members of the Chief Officer’s team. • Work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a professional demeanor in challenging situations. • Manage conflicting scheduling issues and unexpected changes with supreme attention to detail. • Complete multiple requests simultaneously with accuracy and proficiency. • Other administrative and project responsibilities as assigned.
