Habitat for Humanity of Greater Newburgh, a 10-year-old affiliate of Habitat for Humanity Internations, with offices in historic Newburgh, NY, is seeking applicants for the position of Executive Director. HFHGN serves eastern Orange County, NY building houses in partnership with families in need. Presently we build 7-10 houmes a year. HFHGN actively seeks to expand its activities in neighborhood revitalization initiatives and to expand its volunteer base and service area. The Executive Director (ED) is accountable to our Board of Directors through the Board President and Executive Committee. The ED provides leadership to strategic planning and executive management to the organizaiton, coordinates all operations, and is responsible for steering the organization in fulfillment of its mission and attainment of its goals. Habitat Newburgh has a $1.6 million annual budget, 7 full-time staff and the potential of several interships and AmeriCorps positions.
