UNLIMITED OPPORTUNITY FOR A DYNAMIC DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT, NORTHEAST REGION American Friends of Tel Aviv University, the U.S. fundraising organization supporting Israel\'s leading institution of higher learning, seeks a seasoned and successful development executive to serve as Vice President of AFTAU\'s Northeast Region -- the area\'s senior campaign and development director. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years experience and a proven record of success in campaign strategy; donor cultivation and relationship-building; major gifts solicitation; and expertise in developing and expanding regional operations. Reporting to AFTAU\'s Chief Operating Officer, s/he will have responsibility for identifying, cultivating and soliciting a major gift portfolio, and leading the Northeast development team. A dynamic presence is essential, as is the ability to inspire and motivate staff. S/he will work equally well with donors; board members and other volunteer leadership; national and regional colleagues; and administrators and academics at the university in Tel Aviv.
