The Community DreamYard is focused entirely in the Bronx, a borough that possesses incredible cultural, human and economic assets. The organization believes that the arts are a necessary part of developing those assets to their greatest potential. The Position, Roles and Responsibilities The Director of Development will work closely with the Executive Directors to develop and implement DreamYard’s donor stewardship, corporate funding and strategic and long-term development planning programs. The Director will also work with the Associate Director of Development on Foundation funding and grant-writing. DreamYard currently has an annual budget of $2,800,000; the goal is that DreamYard will increase its school partnership and community work and reach its strategic goals through an expanded budget of $4,000,000 by the year 2015.
