Summary We are seeking a Managing Director, Country Support, who will focus on development resources for the country support team of Teach For All. The ideal candidate will serve as a resource to CEOs and local development staff of Teach For All’s country partners as they seek to develop the strategies, relationships, and systems to develop a sustainable funding base, a network of champions for their organization, and a viable long-term organization. This position provides an individual with superior leadership, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills the opportunity to serve as a key contributor to the success of all organizations in the Teach For All network. This person will report to the Senior Managing Director, Development and Marketing Resources. Country Support Team Overview Teach For All enables its partner organizations to learn from each other and thus have a greater impact, and also to have an impact internationally by sharing their resources and experience with peer organizations in an effective and efficient way. The aim of the Country Support team is to leverage the learnings and resources of the network to help independent social enterprises overcome challenges and maximize scale, student achievement, alumni leadership, and organizational strength. Collectively the team is responsible for: 1. Meeting the support of the independent social enterprises within the Teach For All network by providing and coordinating thought partnership and functional area expertise (including on-the-ground training and support) and resources, drawing from the lessons learned from all partners in the network. 2. Demonstrating progress toward Teach For All’s measures of success, which include network partners’ satisfaction with, and the demonstrated value-add of, Teach For All’s services. Responsibilities Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: * Building out and engaging network partners in network-wide support services, including an online platform, that provide partners resources, tools, and insights from across the network to help them reach their development goals * Identifying opportunities for and facilitating shared experiences and interactions among local development staff members across the network * Creating and executing on a strategic plan for sharing and leveraging network funding leads, in collaboration with the Teach For All Growth Strategy & Development team * Serving as a strategic thought-partner to CEOs, local development staff, and on-the-ground country relationships managers, as they develop and execute their development strategies * Identifying and developing effective ways to share development experiences and best practices as they emerge from the network.
