Job Description: The Strategic Initiatives Manager is responsible for the day to day management of Grameen Foundation’s corporate performance management system and for supporting the project management of initiatives in the portfolio of the Chief of Staff and Strategy Office. He/she will actively engage in strategic, tactical and operational issues that span across initiatives of Grameen Foundation and develop integrating mechanisms that improve decision making and execution – with a focus on knowledge and information management. This person will maintain and enhance a system of metrics and tools to effectively measure progress toward our strategic goals and support the Chief of Staff & Chief Strategy Officer to identify and implement key improvements to the development, alignment and management of corporate strategy. Reporting and relationships: The Strategic Initiatives Manager will report to the Chief of Staff & Chief Strategy Officer. Availability: The Strategic Initiatives Manager will be expected to work a standard 37.5-hour workweek plus additional hours as necessary to get the job done. The position may require 5-10% travel within the US and abroad. Essential Job Functions Corporate Performance and Strategy Management Manage the day-to-day operations of GF’s corporate performance management system, including regular updates to metrics, timeliness of reporting, consistency, and quality control Develop custom management reports and improve the functionality of the system to deliver increased business intelligence capacity to the organization Support the monitoring of performance against plans via formal quarterly reviews and monthly dashboards, to drive decision-making, increase visibility into progress, highlight gaps against targets, improve strategic alignment and inform allocation of resources Support annual planning and strategy review exercises Conduct research to frame and inform strategic decisions facing the organization Strategic Project Management Drive the execution of projects in the portfolio of initiatives owned by the COS/CSO Build and manage a project management office to coordinate and communicate progress against cross-functional initiatives to the organization Work across GF to mobilize resources effectively, remove roadblocks, and improve communication to deliver on planned strategic cross-functional initiatives Knowledge Management Identify opportunities and create solutions to increase knowledge sharing, management and learning across the organization to increase the value of information and leverage best practices Leverage technology platforms and create processes to enhance and develop knowledge management initiatives that reduce friction in decision making processes Other responsibilities, as neededPožiadavky na zamestnanca
