Corporate Controller: Haemonetics Key Characteristics: Responsible for the books and records of the Company, including external public company (SEC), compliance with prevailing accounting, reporting and corporate governance standards; developing and enforcing policies and internal controls that insure integrity, meaningfulness and accuracy of financial statements; and managing the corporate accounting function including general ledger, consolidation, payroll and accounts payable. Key Responsibilities: Presents quarterly to Audit Committee Management of timely no-surprise reviews and audits of the Company’s books by external accountants. Improvement of company wide financial controls to ensure accurate, consistent and timely reporting of financial data, including reviewing/restructuring the existing information flows/controls. Automation and integration of accounting, budgeting and reporting systems, creating new systems where appropriate. Development of SEC quarterly and year-end reports, registration statements and proxy statement financial tables. Indirect supervision and management of geography and business unit finance staff, and employee direction, development and training. Support of the execution of the Company’s strategy of top line growth through acquisition of new businesses and technologies by playing a lead roll in the analysis, negotiation support and integration of new businesses from an accounting and reporting standpoint, including the application of GAAP and determination of earnings dilution or accretion. Participates and presents in investor meetings. Develop, communicate, train and implement accounting policies. Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelors Degree. Masters degree preferred. CPA or equivalent education and experience. Experience in public company SEC reporting and knowledge of GAAP required, including revenue recognition (SAB 104), EITF 00-21, M&A (FAS 142), cost, and foreign currency translation and derivative accounting (FAS 133), Accounting for Income Taxes (FAS 109, FIN 48). 12+ years accounting experience. International (including Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and other applicable laws) and manufacturing experience required. Technical accounting expertise (GAAP and SEC knowledge) and be able to apply and communicate concepts effectively and to anticipate issues and needs.Požiadavky na zamestnanca
