Director, Business Process Excellence: Haemonetics Key Characteristics: This key position is responsible for overseeing and managing the strategic and operational aspects of business process excellence and transformation projects, and he/she will serve as liaison between project teams and line management. The ideal candidate is also accountable for leading the business process excellence function, primarily within a manufacturing environment but extending to other business units as needed. Key Responsibilities: Oversees a team of business process specialists, recruits and trains staff, champions business process excellence projects, determines key priorities, metrics and schedules. Ensures a thorough analysis of business units to identify and prioritize productivity improvement opportunities, cost efficiencies, process simplification options, reduction of complexity and optimal levels of staffing. Facilitates communication and discussions cross-functionally with stakeholders, internal customers, advisors and extended team members as required to ensure alignment and commitment. Enables substantial cost improvement major, profit enhancement and business opportunities while balancing quality objectives and reliability of processes. Makes timely decisions to ensure efficient project progress, manages scope, time, cost and quality of projects. Takes initiative to proactively identify and mitigate project risks. Defines plan deliverables and tasks required to meet business and technical requirements, measures team progress towards goals, revises project plan and works tasks accordingly. Creates and maintains project plans, serves as the central point of contact for all project activities. Is proactive and takes initiative to highlight issues that may impact project scope, timeline or other teams’ efforts. Evaluates Project Team members progress toward agreed upon objectives. Education and Experience Requirements BS / BA required, MBA or advanced degree preferred Experience in successfully directing high profile major project implementations Multi-national and manufacturing company experience Experience in project/program management and six sigma methodology Experience building strong organization credibility as a leader Strong relationship building skills, including building cross functional coalitions Willingness to travel occasionally Track record of delivering results Well respected by functional leaders and peers Established as a credible resource and leader with manufacturing and business experience Track record of being a strong leader and an excellent team player Excellent planning and project management skills Proficient in Six Sigma and Lean methodologies Strong change leadership capabilityPožiadavky na zamestnanca
