Product Development Engineer II, Mechanical (Temp) Haemonetics Key Characteristics: Responsible for the invention, design, development and support of systems or devices for Haemonetics development projects. Key Responsibilities: Upgrade current devices or invent new ones to improve the quality of the Haemonetics products per marketing requirements. May design thorough test protocols to ensure that the product meets current GMPs, FDA, MDD, and other regulatory standards/guidelines as well as Haemonetics SOPs. Design test fixtures and assist in development of test procedures for vendors and manufacturing. Assist in development of manufacturing instructions, hazard analysis and essential requirements checklists, product specifications, drawings, test reports, MI validations, product labeling, costing, and bill of materials related to equipment. Develop and validate Instructions and design files utilizing resources. Create final product documentation, system specifications, and theory of operation. Manage and prepare documentation for the release and revision of company products. Perform data analysis and write summary reports Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelors Degree in specific Engineering discipline required; MS in engineering desirable. 5-7+ years experience in a medical device development environment required. Strong computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project. Must be well organized, have good communication and presentation skills.
