Vice President, Investor Relations Haemonetics Key Characteristics: The Vice President of Investor Relations will be responsible for the strategic planning and development of all investor relations activities to broaden and increase shareholder value and enhance company image with the investment community. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement investor relations and related communication strategies including Haemonetics’ positioning and intended messaging to the financial markets Organize, draft and participate in presentations to analysts and investors Serve as Haemonetics’ information conduit to the investor community Develop and maintain strong relationships or trust and respect with analysts and investors. Proactively anticipate and address investor and analyst issues. Respond to external requests for information Serve as a key advisor and resource to Sr. Management on issues involving the company and the investment community Play a lead role in developing and implementing public communications, often requiring precise and delicate messaging. Prepare and present press releases covering business activities and financial results .Review communications between Haemonetics and investors and review quarterly shareholder base output Provide ongoing analysis and monitoring of competitor and peer group companies, institutional investors and analyst activity Cultivate shareholder and new prospects by establishing and maintain target list of shareholders comprising desirable holders, as well as institutions for which an existing position could grow, and introduce Haemonetics through calling plan and specific communication methods Partner with senior management to understand travel schedules and set up meetings with targets and management when appropriate, and ensure meeting follow up Responsible to proactively maintain and enhance Haemonetics’ external website with an eye toward institutional investor preferences Facilitate annual report and proxy process Education and Experience Required: Bachelor’s degree and MBA required 15+ years of related experience in financial communication or investor relations, ideally in the life sciences or medical device industries Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be able to communicate with external analysts and the media Superior business acumen Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical abilities and attention to detail Solid understanding of the professional investor/analyst universe, including both buy-side and sell-side institutions
