We are currently seeking a multi-faceted Electrical/Mechanical Test Technician for our Battery Test Lab to perform tests on lithium-ion modules and packs. Ideally, we would like to find someone who has: BS Electrical or Mechanical Engineering degree 0-2 years in industry with experience in Automotive component/system testing including environmental and safety testing Mechanical/Electrical fixture design Automotive experience a plus Excellent skills with: Low Voltage DC Circuits Thermodynamics Labview and Matlab Data acquisition and post-processing Design and execution experiments Strong organization and documentation skills Knowledge of CAN a plus Knowledge of High Voltage power electronics and systems a plus Capable of performing hands-on tasks to complete the job Responsibilities: • Key member of a cross functional product test development team • Implement test plans and procedures • Work directly with design and test engineers to create validation test plans • Design, fabrication and programming of test equipment for the validation of electronic and electromechanical equipment. • Analyze test data and write test reports Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
