As a member of a controls and firmware development team, you will model, design, and implement control schemes to achieve the various powertrain objectives within Tesla vehicles. Description Research, model, specify, design, implement, debug, and test control algorithms for motor, power electronics, thermal, and battery systems Work collaboratively with electrical, mechanical, thermal, QA, and other firmware engineers to define control system targets and limits Advance Tesla IP in electrical powertrain control systems Job Requirements Essential Skills: Model development and data analysis in Matlab/Simulink Capability of delivering high-quality code in an embedded environment Familiarity with embedded microprocessor design process: compilers, debuggers, IDE Experience developing in an RTOS in C or C++ Strong communication and preference for working in teams Desired Skills: Familiarity with hybrid and electric powertrains Understanding of motor control and battery management Knowledge of heat transfer and thermal modeling Qualifications: Greater than 3 years experience with controls system development, modeling, and/or implementation BS degree in EE/ME or equivalentPožiadavky na zamestnanca
