FINCA International is currently looking for an International Human Resources (IHR) Intern. S/he is part of the Human and Business Resources unit of FINCA Corporate HQ in Washington, DC, and works with FINCA’s team in support of our global network with the goal of improving and streamlining the headquarters communication environment with our affiliates around the world. The IHR Intern will have the unique opportunity to interface with staff from across FINCA’s global network and will be in a unique position to learn first hand about the workings of a global financial institution. Responsibilities will include working in the office of the Vice President of Human Resources on a variety of special projects, interfacing with a variety of stakeholders (donors, global staff, management, board, etc), reviewing documents, coordinating interviews and meetings with international team members, and assisting the other staff on the Human Resources team with global Human Resources projects as required and with various day-to-day activities.
